National Day is one of the most important holidays in China. It is celebrated on October 1st every year to mark the founding of the People's Republic of China. This year, I had a very special National Day holiday.

During the holiday, my family and I went on a trip to Beijing. We visited famous places like the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. The Great Wall was amazing! It was so long and beautiful. I took many photos with my parents. At the Forbidden City, I learned a lot about Chinese history. The palace was very big and full of ancient buildings.

In the evening, there was a fireworks show in the city square. The sky was filled with colorful lights. Everyone was excited and happy. I felt proud to be a Chinese person.

On National Day, we also watched the military parade on TV. The soldiers marched very neatly, and the planes flew overhead. It made me feel proud of our country.
