Today, I want to share some stories from my life. These aren't grand achievements, but rather small moments of insight.

First, let me tell you about "connecting the dots." When I was young, I didn't see how things would connect in the future. I dropped out of Reed College after just six months, which left me feeling lost. But later on, I realized that those seemingly useless pieces of knowledge would become important at some point in the future. For instance, the typography class I took ended up being crucial for designing the Macintosh's fonts. So, don't be afraid to make choices because they will influence your future in ways you can't predict.

Next, I want to talk about death. After leaving Apple, I went through a tough period where I lost confidence and questioned whether I could still create value. It was during this difficult time that I realized death is a part of life, something we cannot escape. Because of this, we need to cherish every day and do what truly matters, following our inner calling.

Lastly, I want to emphasize the importance of listening to your heart. Don't let other people's opinions drown out your inner voice. Most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They already know what you want to become. Everything else is secondary.
