Hello! This is my first week of the winter vacation during the second year of middle school. The holiday is full of fun and excitement, and I want to share some of my experiences with you.
On Monday, I spent most of my time finishing up some homework that was left over from the term. It felt good to get it done so early in the break. Afterward, I helped my mom prepare dinner. Cooking together is always enjoyable because we can talk about our day and share stories. She taught me how to make a simple but delicious stir-fry dish, which made me feel proud.
Tuesday was all about relaxation. I woke up late and enjoyed a lazy morning reading a book. My favorite part of the day was playing board games with my younger brother. We laughed a lot and even had a friendly competition to see who could win more rounds. It reminded me of how important family bonding moments are.
Wednesday marked the beginning of my study plan for the holidays. I decided to focus on improving my English skills by practicing vocabulary and grammar exercises. There’s an online platform I like using where I can track my progress daily. By the end of the day, I felt accomplished knowing I dedicated time to learning something new.
Thursday brought another change as I joined an online art class. I’ve always loved drawing, and this gave me the chance to learn techniques from a professional artist. Sketching different objects was challenging yet rewarding. The teacher encouraged creativity, and I ended the session feeling inspired.
Friday was movie night at home. We watched a classic comedy film that everyone agreed was hilarious. Eating popcorn while laughing together created such a warm atmosphere. Before bed, I wrote down some thoughts in my journal, reflecting on the week's activities and setting goals for next week.
Saturday was action-packed! I went skiing with friends. Although I’m not very experienced, the thrill of gliding down the slopes kept us going all afternoon. Exhausted but happy, we stopped for hot chocolate afterward to celebrate our adventure.
Finally, Sunday was reserved for rest. I caught up on sleep, organized my room, and prepared for the upcoming weeks. Preparing mentally helps me stay focused when school resumes.
Overall, this has been a fantastic start to my winter vacation. Each day brings its own joy and learning opportunities. I look forward to continuing these positive habits throughout the break.
